It’s almost exactly three months since I was laid off. The last twelve months have been such a whirlwind in general. I find I seesaw between so many ideas and opinions of my new life that sometimes I think my head might spin right off my neck. Freelance Designer, Blogger, Artist, Mom, Professor?, future Etsy seller? Through all the research and crazy middle of the night brainstorms, I’ll find myself randomly clicking through to inspirational examples of someone who appears to have it figured out. Today, I’d like to highlight my most recent example: a blog called designing moms. All of them have found a way through, or maybe a way towards – when the goal is always changing, you never get to the end. And in one of the blog’s recent interviews with Ryan, the owner of Breakwater Design Studios, she actually said; “Go for it because having “it all” is really possible”.
